Step 1. The clients wish
Since every customer works in a different way, we at Slikweid try to respond to the customer’s wishes as well as possible. We do this by talking to the customer about his or her needs. Are these mono bunches or are they just roses? What are the other product specifications, length, quality, etc. Is it a year-round line or is it on a weekly basis?
When this information has been mapped out, we can assess which of our growers we will have to approach for this demand. We only work directly with growers, so that we can offer the freshest possible product at the best price.
Step 2. How would you like to have the product delivered?
After the products have been chosen, it is important for us to know how the customer wants to receive the products. Do the products have to be made ready for use? This means sealed and with a barcode. Does it leave on CC carts or does it go on block pallets in a water box? Or does it have to be a ready-made product packed dry in boxes? It can also be a raw product that is further processed by the customer. As soon as we have properly mapped out all this information, the customer will receive a quote.

Wholesale
Step 1. The clients wish
Slikweid offers countless options for wholesalers all over the world. With a branch in Aalsmeer and in Nairobi, Kenya, we can supply wholesalers anywhere in the world.
The first step is to talk about the wishes of the customer. What kind of products does the customer use a lot? How would you like the products delivered? Is this in a container in a grower’s sleeve or would you like offers from our mono bunches for wholesalers?
Step 2. How would you like the product delivered?
We can offer the customer the options by supplying the products ready-made, for example with a cover and or other bossing. But we can also deliver in barrels in the traditional way.
If the customer is located further in Europe or outside Europe, we can pack the flowers with extra care so that the product reaches the customer safely and without damage.
